Do you always follow others before making any important business decisions?
Do you check High DA (Domain Authority) websites before creating one for yourself?
Do you always take a peek at your incoming mail before sending out one from your end?
Then sorry, my friend, you've been doing it wrong all your life. ❎
Your business is unique.
Your goals are different.
The resources you have can never be the same as others.
And, above all, your target audience is different.
Anything that works for others doesn’t necessarily work for you.
To figure out which website design copy, CTA color, or placement will produce the best results, you need to have a tool of your own.
You guessed it…
I am talking about A/B testing tools!
Why Should You A/B Test?
Ecommerce A/B testing is no longer a new field. You're probably familiar with the term.
With A/B tests, you can test two unique versions of the same thing to see which delivers the best results.
For example, you can create two unique copies of the same email. Now, send it out to two different groups of consumers.
The result?
You get to see which variant brings more value to the table.
Wondering which companies do a lot of A/B testing in 2021?
The quick answer… All of them.
Big companies, like Amazon, Facebook, and eBay, run thousands of A/B tests every year.
Google and Bing have also invested a lot in conversion efforts.
Not to forget, Airbnb and Booking.com also depend on performance testing experiments.

A/B Testing Case Study
Here's a little case study I want you to have a look at.
Grene is a famous retail chain company in Poland. The brand sells a host of agriculture-related products.
Why am I discussing this particular brand? Because they have been using A/B techniques for years.
Grene redesigned its mini cart and saw a massive 2-times increase in its purchase rate.
How Did They Run A/B Test To Analyze Their Mini Cart Page?
While running a test, Grene found out that:
Customers confused the free delivery USP as a clickable button
Users had difficulty seeing the cart total
Customers had to scroll down to the bottom of the page to click on 'Go to Cart’ CTA
Based on these findings, Grene made the following changes:
- They include a call-to-action (CTAs) button at the top
- To avoid unwanted clicks, they added a 'remove' button with each product
- Also, they almost doubled the size of their 'Add to Cart' button
With these minor changes, Grene grew its sales by up to 200%.
If Grene can do it, you can do it too…
Oh! I forgot to mention that Grene didn’t do it alone. They had VWO’s back. It is one of the best A/B testing tools out there.
